Sport photography
Sport is about action. Many photographers capture the adrenaline. My favourite sport photos? The details.
People in their element. The subtler, but overwhelming buzz. The art of final touches. Nowhere have I felt this but the pre-start to my own competitions, and the rally service park, a spectacle in it’s own right.
I always love watching preparations like these — mesmerizing! The roar of engines, chatter of fans, the countdown ticking on a spectacle we all line the road for.
Underneath the chaos a beautiful dance emerges (if you pay attention). Like anthills coordinating one overtop another. It’s not just the drivers and the machine, it’s all those who put it together.
The emotional pay-off on the finish line is so much grander when you see the whole and not just the result.
Finswimming
“The Formula One of water sports”, this higher paced and more technological form of swimming is a spectacle for competitors and spectators alike.
As I grew up in this particular niche, I am delighted to spread it through my photography. It has given me many world wide friendships and unique experiences.
Going strong in an ever-evolving scene, we are developing a broader international outreach with our local competition every year.
Faster, bigger waves, brighter colours, closer community — and still global.
Rally & motorsports
Hundreds of people to put together the best machine for the conditions ahead. And yet, Lady Luck still holds the cards.
How many can you take under your control, and how for how many can you mitigate the effects? Daring to trace the limits at hundreds of kilometers an hour is just one person, the final and human cog.
Mental strength as much as physical, some of the greatest athletes are those who do what pushed humanity beyond evolution — pilot a machine.
Rally is the sport of ultimate adaptation.
From weather to surface, from corner to corner, everything can change in moments. Action, the flow of racing lines and pure focus.
The mistakes are carved in gravel and chassis,
the best are carved in hearts and memory.

Started photography in 2023; mostly at finswimming events attended as an athlete. Became competition organizer and social media admin for the team running several successful ad campaigns. Did paid work as an event and sports photographer.
Now aspiring to become a photographer or photojournalist; assembling portfolio in motorsports, sports, concert and wildlife photography.

"The Formula One" of water sports, part of the underwater sports family. In the open water and the pool, it's both calm and speed. A unique spectacle with a passionate but tight knit community, it's where I started — my first and dearest photography challenge. Nevera Finswimming Team's official photographer.
This is the more experimental side of the project — using my photos and typography and written works to make mixed media art, graphics, posters and thought pieces.
As a side to photography comes photojournalism — a general review of your subjects, essays, detailed pieces to describe given choices through the lens.
As a big cinematography nerd, the devil really is in the details. Uncovering him is easy through feeling. But to discuss it is like unraveling the blanket string by string, spooling it back to the basics.
